Be realistic

After reading an article online, I feel that at times people just don’t get it. It’s not a trying to be mean moment but really, it’s not easy to be nice to one who gets you totally into some or any sort of deep shit. Wanting to be nice is one thing but trying to be nice is another. It’s a trying thing all along but somehow whatever was done is too hard for someone to even try to be nice. Wanting is deep down and true while trying and actually being nice may come off fake.

Me love it!

I love (X1000000000000) my new pair of high waisted shorts. I think I’ll wear it tomorrow when I go out with G. Can’t hold back my excitement for it to wear for CNY! Grr. Please don’t let me be tempted!

This weekend is also like the weekend of doom! There’s so much to do. I’m only done with one work and I guess I’ve to burn midnight oil tonight in order to go out tomorrow. Wt……

This what happen when we’ve got break and someone felt like playing with the visualizer.

This week is the 4th week of school already. Times flies pretty fast actually. I’m kinda exhausted and the weekend isn’t sufficient to make up for the sleep and all because there’s so much work to do and I want to go out.

Some topics are really hard to grasp especially for Econs. Maybe it’s hard because I’m not listening to the teacher. She’s too lenient and nice. Soft as well. Just imagine those sitting infront talking, her voice will be covered. Grr. Other than that, everything should be fine.

A little push

The Mayonnaise Jar

When things in your life seem, Almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class

And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again
If the jar was full… They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand

And poured it into the jar.. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded
With an unanimous ‘yes.’

The professor then produced Two cups of coffee from under the table
And poured the entire contents Into the jar, effectively
Filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.

‘Now,’ said the professor, As the laughter subsided,
‘I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life..
The golf balls are the important things – God, family,
children, health, friends, and favorite passions –

Things that if everything else was lost

And only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter Like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else –
The small stuff.

‘If you put the sand into the jar first,’ He continued,
‘there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life..

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are
Important to you.

So…

Pay attention to the things That are critical to your happiness.
Playwith your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time
To clean the house and fix the disposal.

‘Take care of the golf balls first –
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.’

One of the students raised her hand
And inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
‘I’m glad you asked’.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there’s always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.’

Please share this with other “Golf Balls”

Too obsessed with Doodle

I think my Doodle’s too cute. And a little poor thing as well. With G, classmates and I trying to get as high as we can, we caused ny Doodle to die umpteen times. It’s so much of my obsession that I’ve neglected my Twitter.

Doodle took over the number one spot follwed by Alice. It was fun but when Doodle came along, everything changed! Hehe. Maybe I’ll go back to my Alice after I get sick of my Doodle. Just give me a few more months or so.

Tale as old as time

Beauty And The Beast By Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson

Yesterday, all of a sudden, I went to hear this song on youtube. When I heard it, I melted. It sounds so soothing and sweet. This is song is genius. I love it.

School starts at 9 tomorrow. Hooray to that. But, it ends at 5.25! Shizz. I’m dead beat today. Got home at 5. I was so tired that I actually slept when the others was having supper/breakfast at Spize. Was at Zouk with G, Darren (Birthday Boy), Charles, Abigail, Joshua Tan, Jaclyn & Ben Song. It was basically G’s classmate. Charles is by far the funniest! Saw the unexpected side of him. It was actually hilarious. I was laughing so hard. Not trying to mean here. I’ll probably post some pictures up when Jaclyn have it on FB. There was a emo guy that stood still, crossed arm on the dance floor all alone in Phuture. I managed to get a few shots of him. So much laughter and tiredness.

Pictures of the aftermath

When G found out that my phone was dead, he came back to meet me at my place. He’s the sweetest & the nicest to me. I swear. It was like 2 or 3 am and he had to go to school in the morning so to be able to submit his FYP on Monday. I feel so lucky to have him to love and for him to love me. He goes all out for me. Thank You & I love you!

This was what happened. So advice from me, NEVER drop your phone on the road, face down. Because this is what will happen. I will guard my new phone with my LIFE! I really learn from this experience from this 2 weeks. From the losing of my I/C and the damage done to my phone. I got to stop being such a klutz, zip my bag, make sure everything is in my bag when I leave. Like I said earlier, I was so scared I didn’t want to tell my mother about it but as a mother, she managed to dig it out of me and I just couldn’t hold it in further and told her everything. Surprisingly, she didn’t blame me and it was just a few nags. What’s even more surprising was she paid for the new phone replacement and… brought me shopping. It is amazing how mothers can be.

Anyway, caught Law Abiding Citizen last night (before I dropped my phone) with G, Abi and Fi (who is the unsympathetic over the death of my first iphone at all). This show is like my Alex Cross book. Just that Alex Cross is now a lawyer. But it’s really good. Gerard Butler was so freaking smart. I kudos him in this show! Like reallyyyyyyyy. All should watch!

About 5 hours ago, I had the most horrific experience! My iphone died. The screen actually! It was so bad that I was shaking. I found it on the road. The gravel road. It’s like someone got knocked down by a car. Good thing I wasn’t there to witness it. This whole thing, I must say is so mind-boggling. I couldn’t get to sleep and I only slept for about 4 hours, waking up in between. I was shaking when I found my phone. Now, I’m trying to find the best way to get my phone repaired and cheaply. I feel bad though, that I have to hide it from my mom. I can’t possibly tell her after the whole I/C incident. I feel like such a klutz! I want to just dig a hole and hide in it!! Please! Let me find somewhere that I can get it done cheaply….
